Umek – OMGWTF & Chase The Moroder

Umek drops some of the hottest tracks of the summer with OMGWTF and Chase The Moroder. As an obvious homage to Giorgio Moroder, he would be very proud of these tracks because of their electro disco basslines, thumping beats, and cowbell percussion.

Axwell – Nothing But Love (Part 2)

Swedish House Mafia’s Axwell does it again with Part 2 of his epic Nothing But Love.  This ep features the smooth vocals of none other than Birmingham’s Errol Reid on the extended vocal version and the other version (Axwell vs. Daddy’s Groove Remix) is a great rework of this soon to be classic . Check out both versions below!!!

BRAHMS “Another Time (Laurel Halo Remix)”

Laurel Halo is very much a sprightly force in her scene. She released (free of cost) the King Felix EP, that was dropped this past April and is now accompanied with this rapturous remix of  BRAHMS‘ “Another Time”.

The remix caches the hermeticly cinched sound of BRAHMS, whilst parlaying her own singular, reflexiveness to the song. This track has the ideal balance all remixes should have, but very rarely do. BRAHMS are currently locked in a studio in Brooklyn mixing their debut EP, to be released this autumn and finely tuning tracks for their first full length record. It goes without saying, that we can expect to see a lot more from both BRAHMS and Laurel Halo in the near future. Below, you have the distinct pleasure of watching both the video and adding the remix to your library below. You’re welcome.

2 Big Summer Tracks from Steve Angello + Wolfgang Gartner

KNAS

Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello is hitting this summer hard with a super electro track, KNAS. The track starts up where One left off, and will be in dj’s rotation well into the fall!

Conscindo

Mark Knight & Wolfgang Gartner bring the heat with Conscindo! If you’re a fan of reading electro house blogs than you know the name and work of both Knight and Gartner. 2009 + 2010 have been really good to Gartner with songs like Firepower killing dancefloors worldwide so it should be no shock that he keeps on bring heat.

Also if you haven’t already checked out Gartner’s remix of Timbaland’s Mornin’ After Dark, here it is:

Tracks that should be on your iPod

Since this website is called RockTheDisco.com and I’m a big fan of Disco/NuDisco then it should be no surprise the the track featured today is Addy Van Der Zwan + Koen Groeneveld’s Gotta Move! This track samples the uber-hit Funkytown by Lipps, Inc., and it really does a great job of keeping the energy of the original while not crossing the cheese line…

Five Stars

Big Tracks + Mix Downloads!

I’ve got three big downloads for your IPOD while you’re chillin’ on the beach!

The first is the David Guetta remix of Robbie Rivera’s huge track, “Rock The Disco.” Obviously, I’m featuring this song because of the name but also because this is just a major, major track! If you thought the original was good, the remix is that much better.
