FEVAH HARD ANTHEMS – LEGENDARY TUNES WITH A NEW TWIST

Fevah Records NZ was founded over ten years ago to help re -capture and resonate the sound depicting Fevah & Fahrenhite Events in London during the 1990s + 2000’s.

The label has featured the legends of Hard House and Hard Trance at one time or another including artists like Steve Blake, Phil Reynolds, Paul Glazby , Paul King, Ilogik, Prime Mover and many more.

That sound was and is “Action packed music that is extreme fun and 100% dance!!!!”.

The Fevah Hard Anthems Series is showcasing the labels original anthems as well as featuring new originals and remixes of tracks from new artists who we think deserve the accolade of having their music in a catalogue that is part of Hard House and Hard Trance History.

RELEASE No1: “VENOM” BY STEVE BLAKE
featuring remixes by High Dosage, Scott Genetik, David Ding and introducing Quade77.

When it was released almost 10 years ago, it became one of Fevah’s most successful anthems and it destroyed dance floors around the globe.

Hard Trance Master Steve Blake is one man is responsible for helping to mould not only what Fevah Hard Trance came to sound like, but also what UK hard trance sounds like from the beginning.

But beware- each mix has a mind of its own and will play with yours. Most interesting definetely David Dings sneaky lil’ “dubstabbing”.

Number 2 in the series is “Rhythms of the Universe” by Eamonn Fevah & Craig Gee. Most impressive in the range of remixes is Sheldon’s very distinctive hard trance version.

Next in line, and ready for release in the next couple of weeks is the EP with a number of remixes of Steve Ryan & Grant Thompson’s legendary “Broken Boundaries”. Remixes have been done by Carl Nicholson, High Dosage, David Ding & a few more left to surprise.

Lookout Weekend — Kid Sister + Nina Sky — Produced by Nadastrom

First and foremost, I’m not a fan of Jersey Shore…

But that doesn’t mean that I’m not a fan of a great remake when I hear it.
Kid Sister remakes the Debbie Deb classic, Lookout Weekend, with the help of Nina Sky and the rising DC duo, Nadastrom. (Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom)

Lookout Weekend is definitely a summer banger that should rock from the Jersey Shore to South Beach. Click on the link below to check out the track!

Look Out Weekend (feat. Nina Sky) — Kid Sister

Tracks that should be in your iPod

Two tracks that are essential for your listening pleasure right now are Axwell’s ‘Nothing But Love’ and Dimitri Vegas + Like Mike’s Refix of Technotronic’s ‘Pump It Up!’ To say these tracks are huge and will be club staples for the next few months is an understatement.

So check out the videos below!

“Bang Bang Bang” is a Banger

Mark Ronson is back with a HUGE TRACK!

“Bang Bang Bang” is appropriately named because it’s an all out summer banger featuring MNDR (Amanda Warner) + Q-Tip. I’ve been a fan of both Q-Tip and Mark for a long time now and this tandem was sure to make big noise.
The track is slated to be released next so I’m sure remixes will be out soon.
BTW If anybody has any great remixes of this or any other tracks, please send them to tracks@rockthedisco.com!

Big Tracks + Mix Downloads!

I’ve got three big downloads for your IPOD while you’re chillin’ on the beach!

The first is the David Guetta remix of Robbie Rivera’s huge track, “Rock The Disco.” Obviously, I’m featuring this song because of the name but also because this is just a major, major track! If you thought the original was good, the remix is that much better.

Coming off the heels of “Acapella,” Kelis drops “4th of July” and it doesn’t disappoint. “4th of July” is produced by Timbaland and it’s an electro heater that will undoubtedly have huge remixes coming out this summer!

Changing gears, there’s a big hip-hop mix floating around by Miami’s own DJ D-Up and Black Bobby. The mix features a great selection of big anthems, underground hits, and a few of Black Bobby’s own tunes. The duo are really making moves in the Miami scene from the South Beach Delano Hotel to the Square Biz Parties at the White Room. So don’t sleep and give is a listen!
